Hello friends! We are Benjamin and Katelyn Helget.
Welcome to our page! We are Benjamin and Katelyn Helget, a married videography and photography duo and the faces behind Water and Wine Films. We are parents to the sweetest little girl and live in Bismarck, the great capitol of North Dakota.
Benjamin
Benjamin is the master of technology and founder of Water and Wine Films. Our journey with videography and photography first started when Benjamin was in high school. When they met in college, Benjamin dragged Katelyn along as a second shooter for his weddings. A love for film and capturing the authenticity of love and people grew, and W&W Films had it’s official start in 2023!
Outside of filming, Benjamin serves the students of the University of Mary as the Director of Residence Life and is a man of many talents and hobbies — he loves to travel, play cards, ride motorcycle, renovate our 1940’s home, and spend time with his daughter and family.
Katelyn
She is also is the lead photographer and does all of the planning, sessions, and editing for the photo side of things as well as co-videographer and main editor for films. She loves to be creative during shoots and work closely with the clients that often end up becoming friends.
Katelyn is the creative brain for Water and Wine Films. She handles all of the communication and behind the scenes work.
When not behind the camera, she is a stay-at-home mom and social media and marketing manager for her mom’s local coffeeshop. She loves to bake, paint, sew, garden, and spend time with those that she loves!
