It was an absolute joy to shoot with these five women down by the Missouri River Shore in the cold of December. It was filled with lots of laughter, twirls, and smiles. Throughout the shoot, we explored the banks of the river, dancing around in the snow and taking breaks to warm up in the car with hot chocolate and Christmas cookies. I was even able to test out my vintage polaroid - which I had never used before - to really capture these women in a unique and special way.

The entire shoot felt like a scene from Little Women — free, joyful, and feminine. What a gift it was to capture their friendship!
