The McDowell Dam shoot with the Carters started out with an intimate 40th anniversary shoot and followed by a full family shoot with all the kids, in-laws, and grandkids. Let’s just say that the Carters know how to have a good time (and tell many, many dad jokes)! There were many laughs and smiles which showcases the authentic joy that the comfort and love of family brings.

When Kayla reached out to me to do this shoot, I didn’t know how much it would mean to me to be able to capture the love of this husband and wife and the family they have built. We took in the views of the lake, fall scenery and trees, and most of all the smiles of loved ones!
